Part 2 of the How to Find a Model, Location and wardrobe in 1 hour is finally up! It took us long enough, but we think it's definitely worth the wait!

So we start off where we left off, THE CAMERA FELL! It was hooked onto the BlackRapid strap which we love, but it was not put on it correctly, so when Mikey was coming down the ladder it fell first! I saved it with my shin, it left a huge dent in my bone, a ton of pain and a very valuable lesson learned! The guys/gals over at BlackRapid spent a lot of time thinking of how the carabiner is going to lock the camera into place and prevent it from falling. If you do not follow the instructions...well you saw what can happen!

Ramblin_Rosie-1 Alright boys and girls welcome to PART 1 of the video series called "HOW TO FIND A LOCATION, MODEL & WARDROBE IN ONE HOUR".

This is the situation that will arise in many of your lives and here are a few tips on how to fix it!

Mikey had met this beautiful girl named Rachel Reed at a meetup group. She's dreamy and we instantly had great ideas to shoot her. But being a busy little lady, her time is limited and when she called us and said we could shoot her we didn't want to waste the opportunity.

The problem - we had almost ZERO prep time. We knew we wanted killer shots, but sometimes those killer shots take a little prep time.

So what did we do!

WE CRUISED DOWNTOWN!

We originally went looking for locations and realized that the artsy fartsy district has some of the coolest vintage and boutique stores. We immediatlely saw a huge lightenupandshoot style opportunity! We are going to walk in, explain the situation and hope that the owners/person working is cool enough to lend us some cool clothes. Never did we expect that they would set us up with props, location and styling. It goes to show how awesome the unknown can be.

This video was somehow forgotten in the migrating from the Blog, we just realized it today so I am reposting for those that have missed it!

Oh how slowly they learn. After taking excessive measures I have finally been able to convince Michael of his mistakes. He's fine...recovering from his dehydration and allergic reaction to the duct tape quickly...he should be up and running in the next few days. Granted the Doc did say his lip swelling will take a little longer, thankfully he loves drinking soup through a straw!
