> I've got an amazing opportunity to lead a group of 5 photographers on a trip to Cartagena to bring in the new year. The trip is December 28 - January 3. We will meet in Cartagena and then be traveling to Taganga on our 3rd night. This is a photographic opportunity you won't forget!

> Colombia had it's problems in the past, but it is now quickly becoming one of the world's most popular travel destinations.  I have lived there for the past 3.5 years and you can be assured that travel is safe.  It's an amazing country, full of culture diversity, spectacular beauty, amazing food, coffee and the most charming people in the world.  Come share a photographic journey with me and celebrate the new year.

> Cartagena is over 450 years old and one of the most pristine colonial cities in the Americas.  It's by far the most well preserved out of all the old cities in the Caribbean.  We will spend three nights in Cartagena shooting locals, models and experiencing this historical city.
>
> Then we head a few hours to the east and will bring in the new year in Taganga.  Once a sleepy little fishing village, it is now a treasure that mostly is only visited by wealthy Colombianas.  It is located in a horseshoe shaped bay on a desert.  Mountains surround the area.  We will bring in the new year here.  One day we will hire a boat and visit Parque Tayrona, a national park that has the most incredible beach I have ever seen and a rainforest.

> We will be staying in top notch places, this is not third world as you think.  The Colombians consider themselves to be more European and have incredible class.  Yes, you will see some the diversity in the classes and poor people.  But, they are lovely and full of happiness.

> Photo - you will be shooting with me.  Everyday there will be an experience where the camera will take on an adventure.  But, if you would rather lounge by the pool, get a message or just hangout.  You will never feel pressured to take part in all the activities.  My staff can help arrange almost any activity for you.

> This is not a typical snooty old persons tour.  This is for those who love new experiences and want to do it in style.  The good thing about Colombia is that you can travel in style for much less than say Europe or orther travel destinations.  The reason, Colombia is just now breaking into tourism.  See it now before it's ruined by the travel channel.

> Who should attend?
> This workshop is for advanced amateur and professional photographers. Participants need to be technically self-sufficient, as this is not a workshop to learn how to use your gear or editing software. Participants should be in good health as long days are spent exploring (this means walking)and walking.

> Feel free to bring your loved one.  This trip would be enjoyed by those taking pics with an iphone as well.  But, the center of focus will be photography.

> PACKAGE PRICE: $2,495, includes: double occupancy accommodations for seven nights; breakfast daily plus several culinary experiences.  Airfare to Cartagena is not included.
