Some of you that follow this blog and my work know that I'm not afraid to experiment.  I started Lightenupandshoot so that I could document my photo journey.  I love pushing myself to be different and focus on my strenghts.  Enough ranting;  I want to see if you can get inspired and do something different.  Share you photos with me and have an opportunity to share with other followers of this site.

 Get creative.  Experiment.  Do something different.  Some quick tips before the details:

-trying using a snoot (you can make one with some cardboard or heavy paper)

-block the light with a black flag, gobo or black piece of stiff paper (whatever you can find) to control the light and create a pattern

-be bold and put the softbox, grid or whatever light modifier behind, above or from below the subject

-add a second light for color, slight fill, strange rim, background light, etc.
